Its a must visit place in mauritius..its a very old horse racing club in
southern hemisphere..infact its one of the oldest in the world,,
Wanted to do this trip for 5 years and finally managed it on 23
September, we booked it before we left as it is a popular day. Our
private transfer collected us and we were met by Jaques and Joanna on
arrival. We were shown around the course, parade ring and betting area.
We were then taken to our private box and a welcoming drink. As soon as
your glass was emptied it was refilled and the home made food was
amazing. Jaques and his team were very friendly and accommodating and
made the day. You have the option of placing a bet in the box or you can
place it in the betting ring. The view of the track from the box is
second to none, been to many courses in UK and this rivals many of them.
We met some lovely people especially Matt and Lisa. This is a great day
out and highly recommend to anyone thinking about it.
